Individual Therapy for Children and Adolescents
The adolescent years can bring unique challenges ranging from anxiety and depression to questions of identity and belonging. They are also a time of profound growth and discovery. In my work with children, teens, and young adults, I help them navigate this process with curiosity, compassion, and support.
Together, we build coping skills and explore life experiences to foster insight, healing, and space for new, more empowering narratives. For younger clients, I use play therapy to help them express emotions, process challenges, and develop the language to better understand themselves and the world around them.
I strive to help young clients strengthen self-esteem, emotional awareness, and self-advocacy- tools that can support mental health and resilience as they grow into adulthood. My background in child development informs my approach, allowing me to meet each child where they are. I also draw upon Family Systems and Attachment Theory to create individualized treatment plans that consider the whole child within the context of their family and environment.
